Santa dressed gunman's attack -

A gun attack on Reina nightclub in Istanbul has left at least 35 people dead and more than 40 people wounded, according to the city’s governor.

Axar.az reports that, one police officer and a civilian are said to have been killed.

Two attackers are said to have been involved, one of whom is believed to still be inside the club. Police special forces are said to be preparing to enter the building.

Initial reports suggest the shooters were wearing Santa Claus costumes.

Television footage shows ambulances and police vehicles outside the venue in the Ortaköy district of the city.
