Iran has begun three days of national mourning following the death of former President Hashemi Rafsanjani.
The 82-year-old died in hospital on Sunday after suffering a heart attack.

Axar.az reports that, officials, relatives and the general public have been paying their respects as his coffin lies in Jamaran prayer hall, the famous residence of the founder of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Khomeini.
