EPA head Scott Pruitt removes himself from lawsuits

The Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, is stepping aside as legal challenges to Obama-era regulations that he helped craft as Oklahoma’s attorney general continue to be litigated.

Axar.az reports citing RT.

An EPA memo from May 4 obtained by Environment & Energy News reads that Pruitt has recused himself from the legal cases against the EPA that he was fighting before becoming the head of that very agency. It’s a move Pruitt did not foresee during Senate confirmation hearings for his current position.
