Police target 913 suspects in counter-narcotics op

Police carried out an extensive nationwide counter-narcotics operation throughout Turkey, targeting a total of 913 suspects, reports said Monday.

Axar.az reports citing DailySabah.

According to reports, the operation was launched against drug trafficking suspects in 79 provinces.

A total of 1,676 police teams and 7,118 staff reportedly participated in the operations, which was supported by teams from counter-terror department and anti-smuggling and organized crime departments.

In the capital, police raided 13 different places and detained some suspects.
