U.S.-led airstrikes kill 16 civilians in Syria's Raqqa

The United States-led coalition in Syria carried out an airstrike near the Islamic State's (ISIS) de facto capital.

Axar.az reports citing Teletrader.

Raqqa which resulted in the deaths of at least 16 civilians, AFP reported on Wednesday citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

SOHR claimed the fatalities of the attack on a village about 10 kilometers west of Raqqa included five children.

Last week, 23 civilians were killed following a strike by the US-led coalition on the town of Akayrshi near Raqqa allegedly aimed against ISIS .
