Paris exhibition presents works of Azerbaijani artists

“Art Shopping” international contemporary art exhibition is being held at Carrousel hall of Louvre museum in Paris, France.

Axar.az reports citing Report.

French bureau of Report News Agency informs, the exhibition features works by Azerbaijani artists Asmar Narimanbeyova, Maryam Alakbarli and Leyla Aliyeva.

Also, Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Elchin Amirbeyov, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Anar Karimov, Chairperson of the Azerbaijani House in Paris, Secretary General of the French Association of Friends of Azerbaijan Mirvari Fataliyeva attending the vernissage organized on the occasion of opening of the exhibition.

In addition to paintings, handicrafts from "DABZ" 2017 collection are also being featured.

Member of the Azerbaijan's Union of Artists Leyla Aliyeva told local bureau of Report News Agency that the works shown in the exhibition were created by turning Azerbaijani songs into the world of colors.

Director and founder of “Art Shopping” international contemporary art exhibition, Myriam Annonay Castanet told local bureau of Report that only works by Maryam Alakbarli were featured in the fair 5 years ago.

Notably, XX “Art Shopping” international contemporary art exhibition will last till June 11.
