The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) is providing food aid to hundreds of needy families in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Axar.az reports citing AA.

“We distributed food packages in the West Bank cities of Al-Khalil [Hebron] and Ramallah,” Bulent Korkmaz, TIKA’s coordinator for Palestine, told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday.

“And today we will complete our aid program in [East] Jerusalem,” he added.

According to Korkmaz, the distribution of food aid in East Jerusalem was overseen by Jerusalem’s Al-Zakah Committee. The latest aid deliveries come within the context of TIKA’s ongoing food aid program, which was first launched some 10 years ago.
