Recep Tayyip Erdogan phones President Ilham Aliyev

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a phone call to the leaders of 16 Islamic countries on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha.

Axar.az reports citing Turkish media that Erdogan also called President Ilham Aliyev.

The President of Turkey congratulated the head of state on holiday and wished the people of Azerbaijan well-being.

The sides also discussed the Myanmar crisis and said that the cooperation of the Islamic countries was a must.
