6.9 magnitude earthquake hits southern China

An earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale rocked China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, China Earthquake Networks Center said early Saturday.

Axar.az reports quoting Anadolu Agency.

The epicenter of the quake was located at Nyingchi in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

No casualties or damage have yet to be reported.
