Russian upper house lawmaker detained by police in France

Suleiman Kerimov, a member of the Upper House of Russia’s Parliament, was detained by French police in Nice on Monday.

Axar.az informs that TASS news agency quoted the Russian Embassy as saying on Tuesday.

The agency did not say why Kerimov had been detained.
