Israel detains 18 Palestinians in West Bank raids

Israeli forces rounded up 18 Palestinians in overnight raids in the occupied West Bank, according to the Israeli military.

Axar.az informs citing Turkish media in a Monday statement, the army said the suspects were detained on suspicion of involvement in “terrorist” activities.

The Israeli army frequently carries out wide-ranging arrest campaigns in the West Bank on claims of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.

According to Palestinian official figures, more than 6,300 Palestinians are currently held in detention facilities throughout Israel.
