Polish historian expelled from Russia

Polish historian Henryk Glebocki has been deported from Russia in response to Warswaw’s unfriendly move.

Axar.az informs that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement posted on the ministry’s website on Monday.

"We confirm the expulsion of Polish citizen Henryk Glebocki, an employee of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and a regional department of Poland’s Institute of National Remembrance, from Russia," the statement reads. "We would like to recall that on October 11, the Polish authorities expelled from Poland a Russian historian and scholar who was working as a teacher there on the basis of some absurd accusations. The measures taken against Henryk Glebocki are a response to that unfriendly move."
