Domodedovo bomb threat reporter to face criminal charges

A Domodedovo Airport passenger who said he had an explosive device will face a criminal case under the article "A deliberately false report of a terror attack," a law enforcement official told TASS on Monday.

Axar.az reports citing TASS.

"The passenger who reported that he had a bomb will face a criminal case under Article 207 of the Russian Criminal Code (‘A deliberately false report of a terror attack’)," the official said. He noted that the man will be checked for alcohol intoxication.

Earlier, the airport’s press service told TASS that the experts did not find any prohibited objects after a passenger had reported that he had a bomb. One of the airport’s exits was blocked, and flights and passengers were serviced on a routine basis.
