"The Russian Orthodox Church is always ready to act as mediator in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict."

The press secretary of the Russian Orthodox Church Alexander Volkov said these words.

He recalled Patriarch Kirill’s message to the religious leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as an evidence.

"The Russian Orthodox Church uses all available opportunities to help peacekeeping process and service of peace carried out by Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade and Catholicos Garegin,” he emphasized.
