Fire kills 11 in southwestern Iran

A fire in a coffeehouse killed 11 people in southwestern Iran on Tuesday.

Axar.az informs citing the official IRNA news agency.

Thirteen people were also injured in the blaze in the southwest city of Ahvaz.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, but local authorities suspect the blaze was arson.

Ahvaz Police Commander Colonel Mohammad Safari said a man was detained for suspicion of starting the fire.
