Chairman of the Latvian Saeima Inara Murnietse will embark on an official visit to Azerbaijan, according to Latvian Ambassador Juris Maklakovs. He said the visit is expected to take place in mid-September of this year.

As part of her visit to Azerbaijan, the chairman of the Saeima will hold high level meetings to discuss ways of developing the bilateral relations.

The Ambassador said that Riga mayor Nils Ušakovs will also visit Azerbaijan. He said work was underway to organize a business forum for entrepreneurs of the two countries. On May 29 seasonal air flights will be launch from to Riga to Baku, the Latvian Ambassador added.
