Turkish FM holds phone call with ex-Saudi FM

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu held a phone conversation with former Saudi counterpart Adel al-Jubeir, according to Turkish diplomatic sources on Sunday.

Axar.az reports citing Anadolu Agency.

This came days after al-Jubeir was replaced by King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia as part of cabinet reshuffle.

On Thursday, King Salman carried out a limited cabinet reshuffle by replacing some ministers. Ibrahim al-Assaf was appointed foreign minister, replacing al-Jubeir, who was made minister of state for foreign affairs.
