It is questionable that PACE's restoring Russia's membership how will affect wars.

Axar.az reports that professor of international law, political scientist Farhad Mehdiyev said this during his comment on PACE's decision about Russia.

He said that this decision of PACE results questions and concerns:

"Particular attention is paid to open window of dialogue in modern international relations, according to Tereza May, it is believed that with this Russia will have more control over human rights abuses.

These can be rational motives; but this decision of PACE by ignoring the fact of the occupation can lead to further wars in the future. Beginning with the Brian-Kellod pact, the tools used in the Second World War, particularly, were aimed at preventing war. But how PACE's this decision will affect the wars remains questionable".

It should be noted that earlier, voting on restoration of Russia's rights in PACE was held. As a result, a resolution on the return of the Russian delegation to the PACE was adopted. This resolution was met with sharp criticism by Ukraine.
