Putin not planning to visit Azerbaijan in May

Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning to visit Azerbaijan in May, said a statement of the Kremlin’s press service on May 13.

“The reports that Russian President Putin will visit Baku in May are groundless. No such a visit is planned,” said the statement.

Diplomatic sources told local media that Putin is likely to visit Baku in this summer to attend a trilateral meeting with his Azerbaijani and Iranian counterparts.
