Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the beginning of a new military operation in Syria. “A new anti-terrorist operation entitled 'Source of Peace' is being conducted in northern Syria,” President Erdogan added.

The president stressed that Turkey will completely destroy the hotbeds of terrorism in northern Syria.

On Oct. 7, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that in anticipation of the beginning of new military operations by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Syria, the US servicemen began to leave the region.

On Oct. 1, Erdogan said that Turkey will have to create the safety zone in northern Syria alone.
