Korean Speaker invites Salome Zourabichvili to Seoul

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili met with Speaker of South Korea's National Assembly Moon Hee-sang who is on a visit in Tbilisi.

Axar.az reports referring to Georgian media.

The parties discussed issues of developing bilateral relations in the trade, economic, cultural and educational fields.

Importance of opening an embassy of the Republic of Korea in Georgia was also noted. According to Salome Zourabichvili, this will give greater potential for the development of relations between the two countries.

On behalf of the president of the Republic of Korea, Moon Hee-sang conveyed the invitation to the Georgian president of Georgia to visit Seoul. In turn, Salome Zourabichvili also invited the president of South Korea to visit Georgia.
