US President Donald Trump said he would gladly accept Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. The US leader said this before the White House flight to New York.

Axar.az informs that, Trump expressed his hope for Zelenski's visit to the United States soon. "I want him to come to the White House," the White House chief said.

Reuters did not specify the date of the presidents' meeting. The previous meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and the United States was held on September 25.

The heads of state met within the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.

The meeting lasted 45 minutes. Zelenski said Trump promised to help Crimea return to Ukraine. And Trump called the meeting "fantastic."
