The EU to discuss the partnership agreement with Azerbaijan

"The European Union are currently resolving the issue of the mandate for starting discussion the agreement on partnership with Azerbaijan".

The Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Malena Mard told journalists.

She said the process will happen soon, "Firstly, the member states should discuss the issue. As given the mandate, the formal negotiations will begin. We are cooperating with Azerbaijan within the framework of "Eastern Partnership" program. We have implemented a series of plans. We will continue to work in accordance with our priorities," she noted.
