Yellow Vest protesters organized many demonstrations in various parts of the country, particularly in the capital Paris.

Police used pepper spray to disperse demonstrators gathering in Champerret neighborhood of Paris and blocking roads.

A total of 105 protesters were arrested during Saturday’s protests, the Paris police said.

Calling on protesters to abandon streets, police department head Didier Lallement warned violent incidents would be responded harshly.

Thierry Paul Valette, one of the leaders of the Yellow Vest protesters, was also among those arrested.

Also, 71 people were fined for holding demonstrations in banned areas.
