Libya conference ends: World leaders agree

The Libyan conference on the end of a cease-fire and a political process in Libya has ended.

Axar.az informs that, at the end of the conference, German Chancellor Angela Merkel issued a final statement.

“We have agreed on a comprehensive plan. The ceasefire and the embargo should be respected. It was important that Sarkar and Haftar were here. Names for the creation of the military committee were presented, "Merkel said.

The meeting was attended by UN Secretary-General Antonio Gutteres, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, officials of the Libyan conflict, as well as members of state and government of Russia, France, Egypt, UAE and other countries.
