Iran missile strike: 34 American soldiers wounded

A total of 34 US soldiers were injured in Iran's rocket attack on Iraq's military bases.

Axar.az informs that, the Pentagon spokesman, Jonathan Hoffman, said this.

"According to the latest information, 34 servicemen have suffered contusion and trauma," Hoffman said.

The Pentagon official said that 8 servicemen are being treated in the United States and 9 in Germany. The others returned to the base in Iraq.

Hoffman's attack was carried out on January 8 in response to the assassination of Iranian General Gasim Suleiman.

At the time, US President Donald Trump announced that there were no US servicemen injured in the attack.
