Border with Iran closed - Coronavirus excitement

The Ash-Shib checkpoint on the Iranian border in the Iraqi province of Maysan has been closed.

Axar.az informs that, the governor of Maysan province has decided to close the checkpoint after coronavirus infection happened in Iran.

Only diplomats and Iraqi nationals may enter the country.

In addition, funds were allocated to the local health department for appropriate preventive measures against the disease.
