The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the United States has risen sharply over the past day.

Axar.az, reports this was stated by the World Health Organization.

"As a result of this dramatic increase, the United States could become a new hub for the virus," the statement said.

According to the latest data, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the United States has reached 46,168.
