A strong earthquake occurred in Turkey

A 4.7-magnitude earthquake hit the Baskale district of Turkey's Van province.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the Kandilli Observatory.

At 08:39 local time, the quake occurred at a depth of 5 km.

No casualties or damage were reported.
