New bans are imposed in Turkey - Minister

From today, running, walking and fishing will be banned in Turkey on Saturdays and Sundays.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.

"These bans are expected to be applied within a week. According to our calculations, 80 percent of Turkey's life is now stalled," he said.

"After that, the situation will depend on the spread of the coronavirus. It is even possible to declare a state of emergency," Suleyman Soylu said.
