Refrigerators for corpses were brought to New York

Refrigerators have been brought to New York to transport corpses as part of measures against the coronavirus pandemic.

Axar.az reports these trucks are designed to transport the bodies of the dead if the city morgues do not lift the load due to the pandemic.

"We are concerned about the health crisis, a state of emergency has been declared in the city," said a New York City official.

At the same time, tents are being set up in New York to house the bodies of those who died of the coronavirus.

The tents and cars have a total capacity of about 3,500 corpses.
