The Kremlin has reacted to a lawsuit filed by British businessman Alan Sugar against Russian President Vladimir Putin on social media.

Axar.az reports that the businessman claimed that Russian leader Putin had released a lion into the streets to prevent people from going out due to the coronavirus epidemic. The non-serious claims of the businessman are being believed all over the world. To prevent these allegations, the Russian side was forced to make an official statement.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharov said that the joke about putting lions and tigers on the streets in Russia is a really funny approach:

"It simply obvious this does not reflect reality. But traditionally, we let the bears out, not the lions or the tigers into the streets. Bears are more effective.”
