Coronavirus statistics: Highest death toll is in Spain

The latest statistics on the spread of the coronavirus pandemic around the world have been released.

Axar.az reports that according to the latest information, 614,404 people have been infected with the coronavirus. 28,242 of them died and 137,329 were cured.

Coronavirus infection is again most common in the United States. The number of people infected with the virus in this country has reached 104,256. 1,704 people died of the infections.

There are 86,498 infection cases in Italy, 81,394 in China, 72,248 in Spain, 53,340 in Germany, 35,408 in Iran and 32,964 in France.

According to the report, the highest number of deaths on the last day was in Spain - 552 people.

The virus killed 139 people in Iran and 48 in Germany in the past day.
