US health crisis: Thousands will die

Medical supplies just for one week left in New York, USA.

Axar.az reports the statement came from New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. He said hundreds of hospitals in the city needed artificial respiration.

The city's governor, Andrew Cuomo, once again warned people not to take to the streets.

"8,500 people are being treated. We have no choice but to think that thousands of people will die."

The United States is the leader in the number of coronavirus infections. The number of people infected with the virus in this country has exceeded 140,000.
