Europe worries about Russia's coronavirus information

Three members of the European Parliament's Green-European Freedom Alliance faction have called on the EU to investigate Russia's misinformation about the coronavirus.

Axar.az reports that in their letters, the MEPs expressed concern not only about Russia but also about China's propaganda and disinformation.

"Obviously, an attempt is being made to divide the European Union and create mistrust between the local population and its neighbors," the letter said.

However, the deputies did not indicate any facts related to disinformation activities.

It should be noted that the report of the European Foreign Policy Service also stated that the Russian media spread disinformation about the coronavirus and caused concern.
