Number of coronavirus cases in Iran reached record high

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has reached 41,495.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour.

According to him, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country over the past day was 3186. This is the highest number of infections per day in Iran.

The death toll over the last day was 117 (2,757 in total).
