Despite the coronavirus epidemic, NATO is maintaining combat readiness - including in the Baltic region, where Russian activity is observed.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg.

"We maintain our operational readiness, conduct patrols in the airspace and naval forces. We are watching Russia's military activities near the borders of the alliance," he said.
