A 4.9-magnitude earthquake shook the Turkish city of Van.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD).

The quake occurred in the Ermishlar settlement of Van at a depth of 5 kilometers.

It should be noted that no exact information was given about the destruction and casualties.
