China to stage day of mourning

The Chinese government has decided to declare a day of mourning in memory of those who died of the new type of coronavirus.

Axar.az reports that according to the decision, April 4 was declared a day of mourning in the country.

People asked to observe three minutes of ‘silence’ from 10 am as sirens and vehicle horns blast out across the country.

Flags to be flown at half-mast to commemorate the 3,322 Chinese killed by the virulent disease

A total of 81,620 people were affected by the pandemic in China. To date, 76,571 people have been cured and released, and 3,318 people have died.
