Japan declares a state of emergency

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe intends to declare a state of emergency due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus in the country.

Axar.az reports this information was released by Kyoto News citing its sources. The decision to declare a state of emergency will be announced on April 7.

Abe will announce which regions the state of emergency will apply to.
