Russia bans mosque prayers during Ramadan

The Council of Ulema of the Russian Muslim Spiritual Assembly has called for the evening prayers to be held during Ramadan without violating the regime of isolation.

Axar.az reports that the council said that the violation of preventive measures taken by the government is unacceptable:

"Following the requirements of common sense and taking into account the requirements of the law, the Council of Ulema has determined that prayers can be performed only at home."

It should be noted that the month of Ramadan will last from April 24 to May 23 this year.
