The United States will deploy troops to Iraq again

The United States has sent an official letter to the deployment of troops in Iraq.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi at a meeting of the Iraqi National Security Council.

"We have received an official letter from the US government to establish strategic relations, deploy troops in Iraq and continue the dialogue between the delegations of the two countries. This will pave the way for the deepening of relations between the two countries and the establishment of stability in the region," he said.

The U.S. military has withdrawn from six military bases in northern and western Iraq.
