20 times increase in prices - Duma chairman protested

Raising the prices of various products is arbitrary.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin during a video conference with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"Yesterday, the President announced additional support measures for citizens. It now turns out that our traders, especially the largest market chains, take away the help they give people. I have now been given a list of prices in major shopping malls. For example, these shopping centers buy cucumbers for 27.50 rubles, but sell them for 150 rubles. The same is true of the price of tomatoes. The prices of some products have increased more than 20 times," he said.

Volodymyr called on the government to intervene immediately to regulate these prices.
