Pompeo disappointed Iran - We won`t help

The United States opposes the provision of financial assistance to Iran.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in an interview with Guy Benson.

"We wish the Iranians happiness, but this will not be the basis for the transfer of funds to the Iranian regime. We have already seen it. The money will flow into the pockets of their corrupt leadership. The money will not be spent on medical supplies and food. They have both money and resources. The idea that sending money to Iran will help resolve the humanitarian crisis is logically wrong," he said.
