A meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has started at the Turkish Presidential Administration.
Axar.az reports that the cabinet meeting is being held via video conference.
The meeting will discuss measures taken in Turkey to combat the coronavirus and exchange views on the impact of the pandemic on the country's economy.
In addition, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca and Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu will report on the work done to combat the pandemic.
At the same time, the issue of applying curfew and extending it in the coming days will be discussed at the meeting. The ban is expected to be applied over the weekend.
