Iran may face a new economic crisis after the coronavirus pandemic.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Iranian MP Suheyla Celudarzade.

The MP said that 70% of workers, officials, and medical workers in the country receive less than the minimum wage:

"The Supreme Labor Council did not take into account the proposed minimum wage of 2.8 million tomans. Today, inflation is around 40 percent. The minimum wage has been increased by only 21 percent. This is an oppression of the working class."
