These officials are resting abroad - Peskov

Many Russian officials have not taken the coronavirus threat seriously enough.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this while commenting on the fact that some Russian officials were vacationing abroad during the virus.

He noted that some were indifferent to the pandemic due to ignorance and others for other reasons:

"But in one way or another, not everyone immediately believed that the danger was so great."
