The US has imposed sanctions on Iran for this - Mousavi

Washington has imposed sanctions on Iranian law enforcement agencies after previous sanctions failed.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi.

"Useless, repetitive and blind sanctions against Iran's interior minister, law enforcement commanders, and other officials show the weakness of the United States," he said.

Earlier, the United States imposed sanctions on Iran's interior minister and several other officials.
