The US hit China: 33 companies blacklisted

The US Department of Commerce has blacklisted 33 Chinese government and commercial organizations.

Axar.az reports that the ministry's list includes Chinese institutes, universities, and a number of high-tech companies.

Nine organizations on the list have been accused of human rights abuses against Uighurs. The remaining 24 companies have been accused of threatening US foreign policy and national security.
