Terrorists may use COVID-19 - the Council of Europe

The use of biological weapons by extremist groups may increase after the coronavirus pandemic. The current situation has shown the weakness of society in the face of viruses, as well as the terrible potential of viruses.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the German media, citing the Council of Europe's Counter-Terrorism Committee.

"The use of pathogens and other biological agents by terrorists can be extremely effective. The damage done to humans and the economy by viruses can be greater than traditional terrorist attacks,” the statement said.
